The Bears gave up only 84 points in 11 regular season games in 1942, for an average of 7.6 points per game. Soward was the 29th pick of 2000. His only season in the NFL netted 11 games, 28 yards, and no touchdowns. After substance abuse problems, Soward signed with the Toronto Argonauts of the CFL, where his team won the 2004 Grey Cup.

Think of the shoes Terry Bradshaw would of had to fill if Unitas had remained in Pittsburgh. The Steelers had three other QBs at the time, and the coaches called Unitas awkward and dumb. The following year (1956) Unitas was brought to Baltimore to try out for the Colts, and the rest, as they say, was history.
