Super Bowl Quarterbacks - What record previously held by Daryle Lamonica, Joe Namath, Joe Montana, and David Woodley, did Dan Marino of the Miami Dolphins break in Super Bowl XIX, in just his second NFL season?
Most different receivers catching a pass in a Super Bowl
Longest touchdown pass in a Super Bowl
Most incomplete passes in a Super Bowl
Youngest quarterback to start a Super Bowl
The correct answer is 'Youngest quarterback to start a Super Bowl'
Bart Starr (33) and Len Dawson (31) started the first Super Bowl, making it easy for Lamonica, 26 years old at the time, to become the youngest Super Bowl quarterback when he started Super Bowl II for the Oakland Raiders. After that, the record for youngest Super Bowl quarterback was held by Joe Namath (25 when his Jets won Super Bowl III), Joe Montana (25 when he led his 49ers over the Cincinnati Bengals in Super Bowl XVI), and David Woodley (24 when his Dolphins lost Super Bowl XVII to the Redskins). Dan Marino, at 23 years and four months, broke Woodley's record, although his Dolphins lost to Montana's 49ers in Super Bowl XIX. Montana remained the youngest quarterback to win a Super Bowl for almost 20 years, until Tom Brady (24) and Ben Roethlisberger (23 years and 11 months) passed that standard.

Super Bowl Question 8
Football Flakes - My NFL career started in the 1970s. It's a good thing that I was a Super Bowl MVP and Hall of Fame running back. Otherwise, people might remember me more for things like shaving my hair into a mohawk, missing an entire season because I felt like it, getting drunk at a congressional dinner and embarrassing a Supreme Court justice - the list could go on and on. Who am I?
 Marcus Allen
 Franco Harris
 Larry Csonka
 John Riggins
The correct answer is 'John Riggins'
Riggins joined the New York Jets in 1971 out of the University of Kansas. He was known on the Jets as much for his outlandish afro (later turned into an outlandish mohawk) and outspoken ways as he was for his talent. He signed with the Washington Redskins in 1976 and had four below-average years there. When he wasn't happy with the Redskins' 1980 contract offer, he "retired" from football and returned to his Kansas farm. After meeting new Redskins coach Joe Gibbs in 1981, he returned to the team, saying "I'm bored, I'm broke, I'm back." With the 1981-1985 Redskins, Riggins was at his peak, often rushing 30 or more times per game and helping the team control the ball and the clock. Perhaps his most famous moment came at a 1985 banquet in Washington, at which he had too much to drink and told Supreme Court justice Sandra Day O'Connor, who was seated at his table, "Loosen up Sandy baby, you're too tight!" before passing out. He sent her flowers to apologize, and O'Connor later presented Riggins with flowers when he made his acting debut with a Washington theater company.

Super Bowl Question 9
NFL Super Stumpers - Which of the following players was NOT a Super Bowl MVP?
 Fred Biletnikoff

Though Griese started for the Dolphins in Super Bowls VII and VIII, he was MVP of neither. Scott was MVP of Super Bowl VII, Biletnikoff was MVP of Super Bowl XI and Howard was MVP of Super Bowl XXXI.

 Dallas Cowboys and Denver Broncos
 Pittsburg Steelers and Philadelphia Eagles
